Konoba Fran Krsto Frankopan

This restaurant in a castle serves good local dishes. There’s seafood and meat, whatever you like. It’s fresh, tasty and ready really quick. Staff is friendly and helpful, they offered to divide kids platters over two of them without me asking.

A charming konoba set right inside the castle offering two wonderful dining spots — a cozy, beautifully designed interior and a stunning outdoor area within the castle walls. We were delighted by everything: the elegant presentation, friendly service, delicious food, and the authentic, pleasant atmosphere. A truly memorable experience!

Nice small restaurant within castle walls. Delicious mediteranian food, various options with alergen outlined. The portions are big and the place is dog friendly. Atmosphere is nice. Shame that restaurnat does not offer outdoor sitting, only for drinks.

Great place to dine. The food is great! My favourite was the octopus salad. My son loved the fish soup. Staff is friendly. The only thing is that they are a bit slow to serve the food, we had to wait quite a while, but once you get your food, it makes it worth the wait.

We had a beef soup, octopus salad with cheese, and olives, black risotto, green pasta with salmon, green pasta with ham and mushrooms, sea bream (orada) with mangel, some vegetarian dish with shrimps (allegedly), and a wiener schnitzel with fries. All the portions were sizable and tasteful, except that there was some complaint expressed from the one having that vegetarian meal that there were no shrimps in the dish whatsoever. The staff defended they were finely ground within the meal, but that didn't soothe that dissatisfaction. The rest of us were satisfied with our portions, including seasonal salads and house wine. The waiter was courteous and cooperative about changing the table location to a cooler spot. The objection that must be objectively placed is about the restroom that had neither a soap nor a hand tissue or hand drier, which should simply not happen to such a place. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere comfortable, though it was too hot to sit outside and not airconditioned enough while sitting inside. In summary: with some details being improved on the side of the staff, this may be your place to go.

A must see location! Superb restaurant at amazing location situated in the Castle. Love the vibe. The food was amazing!

The food is really great, tasty and fairly sized and priced. Unfortunately the service speed is quite "relaxed" (and the only reason not to rate on 5stars), so take your time to enjoy the food in this historical place.

Such a great lunch spot! We were impressed by how fresh everything tasted and the extensive allergy-friendly menu. Favorites among our group were the tuna steak, salmon pasta and homemade schrimp pasta. Absolutely worth a stop!
